The forest in the novel embodies the memory of the world, and each visit becomes
a descent into one's own past.

The story follows a man who returns home after the end of the Second World War, only to discover that a true return is possible only through accepting himself and the history of his entire family.

He ventures into the depths of the forest, where courage and fear grow from the same roots. And slowly, he begins to see how everything merges here: reality with legend, love with obsession
and himself with his own archetype."
